Who runs your inner tribe?
Pause for a moment and really consider.
Who holds the power in your inner world?

Is it the inner protector?
The part of us that monitors the boundaries. Always scanning for transgressions. Quick to react to anything that feels like a threat.

Is it the inner manager?
The one who organises and plans. Trying to keep everything running smoothly and perfectly. Doing its best to make life predictable, perfect and under control.

Is it the one who hides?
The part that keeps its head down. Doesn’t speak up. Avoids drawing attention. Trying to slip through life under the radar without rocking the boat.

Is it the exile?
The one carrying deep shame and always felt excluded. The one who no longer plays by the rules. Refusing to comply. Living life on its own terms as a way of surviving what once hurt.

Do they all take turns?
One runs your career. Another runs your relationships. A third shows up in family settings. A fourth appears when no one is looking.
Different leaders in different domains.

Most people live this way.
Different parts taking the lead depending on the context. Each one trying to protect you in their own way.

But there is another way.
There is a part within you that sees the whole picture.
The calm, grounded inner Wise Elder.

The elder knows, accepts and includes every member of your inner tribe.
It knows what they are afraid of. It knows why they act the way they do. It holds the story of your life with compassion and insight. It carries the wisdom that has come from living it.

The elder leads with strength and clarity.
It listens to each part. It considers the past, it grounds in what's true today and looks to the future. It makes decisions with integrity. It gathers the scattered parts of your inner tribe and brings them into coherence.

This is the possibility we work towards in the Evolve Your Perspective method.

You will meet your protector, your manager, your hider, and your exile.
You will come to understand how they have been trying to help, trying to keep you safe.
And you will create and invite the Wise Elder part of you to come forward and to step into leadership within you.
It is a process. It is a path. And it is entirely possible.
