Why are these tried-and-true techniques more effective under hypnosis?
Hypnosis is potent! Moving your conscious, thinking, and 'problem-solving' mind out of the way allows you to quickly and easily access the part of your mind that runs the show (your subconscious).
Hypnosis makes you more suggestible, which means you are more open to both looking at the past with fresh perspectives and open to making significant changes in the present.
Your subconscious mind controls:
- 95% of bodily processes / genetic expression.
- all of your habitual and automatic behaviour.
- fuels all of your 'safety' instincts and urges based on old perceived fears.
- will prevent you from doing anything that goes against your existing programming.
- long-term shifts in our belief systems and bodily expression.
Your subconscious and unconscious mind will always win against the lesser willpower of the conscious mind because they are much bigger and much more powerful.
You have to change what lies beneath the surface to make real, lasting changes in your life.
The most effective way we know how to do this is in hypnosis.
Hypnosis effectively and quickly moves your 'conscious' thinking mind out of the way, allowing us to access what lies beneath in the 'programming' that occurred in your past, most commonly during your childhood and formative years.
A core element of the RTT® session is safe regression to past events.
We can gain access to the emotions, deep-seated thoughts, and foundational beliefs that are unknowingly driving your behaviours, habits, and repetitive actions in all areas of your life.
The job of your subconscious mind is to constantly store data from your surroundings, which it then automatically retrieves to run your behaviour - to stay within what is safe, familiar, and known.
As you grow and mature, your subconscious mind works to create your 'self concept' or 'master programme' (which is everything you believe you are and what you believe is available to you in life).
Everything you say and do must be consistent with that programme. Without first changing that 'master programme,' your 'self-concept,' you will struggle to change and sustain any new habits and behaviours.
What hypnosis can do is access the same brain state in which you were when you created that "master programme," allowing us to deactivate the parts that are running unwanted beliefs and behaviours and programme in new parts to run new beliefs and behaviours.

For the most comprehensive explanation of RTT, what it is, how it works, and how I use it to assist you... - listen to this podcast episode I recorded with RTT client Ella of 'On Air with Ella,' a Wellness Podcaster.
Ella shares her own personal experience of a RTT session with me, and how it was one of the most powerful therapies to 'move the needle' for her.
I then go over in detail how I use RTT to work with your subconscious to help you solve your problem...
