A New Way to See Your Life

Step away from the noise. Breathe more deeply. Open space for new perspectives to grow.

Join us for six days (five nights) of reconnection, reflection and renewal on the ancient, beautiful island of Gozo.
Through deep subconscious work, body-based practices, and community sharing, you’ll gain a fresh perspective on the life you’ve lived — and open space for what’s ready to grow next.

Held in a peaceful 400-year-old farmhouse retreat centre, surrounded by sea, stone and sky, this retreat is an invitation to realign with what matters most.

Retreat Location: Gozo, Malta

"Gozo remained an utterly private place, and lucky the man who could find the key, turn the lock, and vanish inside."
— Nicholas Monserrat

Our retreat takes place at Samudra, a collection of traditional farmhouses set in the quiet village of Qala on the island of Gozo.
Here, life moves at a different pace — slow, steady, simple — and the land itself seems to invite you to breathe more deeply.

Gozo, meaning "joy," is a small island in the Mediterranean Sea, just a short ferry ride from mainland Malta.
It’s known for its clear blue waters, rocky coastline, quiet farmland, and villages where traditions are still lived.
This is a place where you can feel the sun on your skin, hear the wind in the fields, and lose track of time in the best possible way.

The island holds a rich history. During the retreat, you have the option to visit the Ġgantija Goddess Temple*, believed to be the oldest free-standing structure in the world — built by ancient, peaceful hands more than 5,000 years ago.
You also have the option to visit the nearby island of Comino* for a swim in the famous Blue Lagoon, a clear, sheltered bay known for its calm, turquoise waters.

Throughout the week, you’ll have the chance to experience Gozo’s quiet beauty — from simple countryside walks among fields and wildflowers, to peaceful evenings by the sea.

Samudra itself is built from warm Gozitan stone and sits close to nature, just a short walk from the nearest beach.
Each farmhouse has its own pool, open terraces, and spaces designed for rest, reflection, and gathering.
The pace is gentle. The energy is grounding. The environment is naturally supportive of the deep work we will be doing.

Gozo has long been a place where people come to reconnect with themselves — quietly, honestly, without rush.
It’s the perfect place to step away from the noise, tend to what matters most, and renew.

Airport Transfer Advice

While airport transfers are not included in the retreat fee, we are happy to help you arrange them through the Samudra venue team.

You’ll be flying into Malta International Airport (MLA). From there, it’s a beautiful journey across to Gozo by road and ferry.

There are two main ferry options:

  • The Gozo Channel Ferry (25 minutes) departs from Cirkewwa in north Malta.

  • The Gozo Fast Ferry (45 minutes) departs from Valletta, closer to the airport.

To reach the ferry terminals, you can take:

  • The X1 direct bus (€2) from the airport to Cirkewwa, taking just over an hour.

  • A taxi, Uber or Bolt to either ferry port e.g approx €20 from airport to the Fast Ferry.

Once on Gozo, a short taxi ride will take you to the retreat centre.

For those wanting a smoother journey, the venue offers optional transfer services (booked directly through them (I can put you in touch), not included in your retreat package):

  • Private transfer from Malta airport to the retreat centre: ÂŁ126 return / €75 one way.

Please note: To remain compliant with UK Package Travel Regulations, we cannot legally include transport within your retreat booking or act as a travel organiser. You're free to book independently, and we’ll send you full step-by-step travel guidance once your place is confirmed, and connect you with the venue for transfers if you wish).

I’ll also be happy to connect you with others arriving at similar times if you’d like to share a transfer and split the cost.
